IMG 6082The Director General of the West Africa Institute (WAI), Prof. Djénéba Traoré, comes back to her intervention at Ignite Talks - Cabo Verde, an event organized and moderated by Samir Pereira, Innovation Consultant and Executive Director of Cheetah Start, on July 29, 2019, at the Palácio da Cultura Ildo Lobo, Praia, Cabo Verde.

Ignite Talks - Cabo Verde is a media show giving speakers the opportunity to present their point of view to the general public and get its reaction. Eleven contributors shared their stories during the 6th edition of Ignite Talks on themes as diverse as they were varied.

Invited by Mr. Pereira to expose a theme of her choice, WAI Director General entitled her presentation inspired by a study initiated by the African Union on the use of endogenous mechanisms in conflict resolution: “Africa with two Faces: Between Desire and Refusal of Development. What are the Continent's Strengths and Challenges? ", focusing on the following points:
